“Some remedies are worse than the disease.”
Publilius Syrus
I have started Doxycycline the same day I got diagnosed by the neurologist. I do not believe in drugs and never take any. However this time I have decided to step over my believes choosing the lesser evil. What I was going through was zillion times worse than side effects of antibiotics. I have to note however, it is very important that a treatment is aligned with you. If you do believe in pharmaceutical drugs like antibiotics, they might actually work for you.
As you have guesses, 90 days of Doxycycline did not do any good to me, otherwise this book would be finished right here. Unfortunately, I was getting worse and worse during those 3 months. My LLMD told me to start another 3 antibiotics plus Mepron for babesia for another 5 month! I knew I did not want to experiment with drugs anymore so I stopped seeing my LLMD and took my healing in my own hands.
I have decide not to take any more antibiotics for the following reasons:
First of, antibiotic means “against life”, which is not aligned with my vision of healing at all.
Those 4 women that healed themselves reported that antibiotics failed them, and moreover they even felt much worse afterwards.
Since Lyme spirochetes can become cysts virtually instantaneously in the presence of threatening antibiotics, it does not make sense to use antibiotics.
Antibiotics are too large and not able to cross blood-brain barrier, and most of my symptoms were affecting my brain.
Antibiotics are not able to get into joins, bones, and other tissue, where spirochete hides.
And last, but not least, antibiotics suppress immune system big time.
In order to promote the body’s ability to heal, Lyme warriors must do everything possible to strengthen their immune system.
Remember, it makes sense to take an approach that will work WITH YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM, instead of against it. And antibiotics were working AGAINST my immune system.
“Another problem with antibiotics is that they don’t deal with the core problem, which is a weak immune system and consequent susceptibility to illness. Antibiotics are toxic to many organs of the body and can damage the kidneys, ears, gastrointestinal tract, and liver. Their use comes at a high cost.” Ronald Whitmont, MD (“Insights into Lyme Disease Treatment”, Connie Strasheim, p.207)
