“There are NO incurable diseases, NONE. Take RESPONSIBILITY, and be willing to CHANGE, and you can heal yourself of anything.
Dr. Shultze
So before we move any further this chapter is an absolute MUST!
When I just got sick I was constantly crying and asking: “Why me?” And I was desperately looking for a “cure”. I was researching treatments and protocols hoping there would be some special treatment like stem cell therapy for instance that will cure me.
Sounds familiar?
Most of us are asking wrong questions and playing “victims”. You cannot get better if you do not change your attitude! I do not care how many antibiotics you are going to take and what fancy treatments you are undergoing, you simply won’t get better if you do not take full responsibility of your health and change your attitude!
No more asking: “Why me?”!!! Who even cares? All you need right now is to get better! From now on you will ask yourself: “What can I do TODAY to improve my health? How can I support my immune system? What treatments are more aligned with me – conventional or alternative, or both? How can I support my mind? What am I grateful for? “
Every time you feel discouraged, repeat this affirmation: “My body is able to heal itself. My body is designed to heal itself. Nothing is incurable!”
When I was sick I printed out these 2 quotes that always reminded me I was going to get well no matter what!
“I believe the body can heal itself if given the proper stimulus! Lyme Disease is no exception! It makes sense to try an approach that will work WITH your immune system instead of against it. Never settle for being told that something is incurable! Get Empowered! Get Well!”
And the second one was: “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” P.Coelho
You can use my quotes or find your own that will inspire you and remind you that you WILL get better no matter what!
“I have consistently seen that people who are able to get rid of their anger heal. Those who are eaten up with anger and resentment, as well those who get depressed and ask questions like, “Why me?” don’t tend to heal.” Dr. Ginger Savely, DNP (“Insights into Lyme Disease Treatment”, Connie Strasheim, p.138)
I was desperately looking for a cure. I was researching treatments and protocols hoping there would be some special treatment like Multi Wawe Oscilator or some other fancy device that will cure me. The whole business of medicine brainwashed us in the idea of “finding” a cure. The word “Finding” implies to look outside yourself for the answer. We were taught that healing is a matter of finding the right cure for your particular disease. Lately it has become more obvious that health is a personal responsibility. Medicine has become a lucrative business, guided by the pharmaceutical companies. They’ve managed to put people in a constant state of fear, always worrying about the next disease or epidemic.
I suggest taking back responsibility and authority for ourselves. Education about health and how the body functions can be very empowering.
